Privacy
WordLern collects nothing. There is no account to create, no analytics, and the app makes no network calls of any kind.
What is collected
Nothing. No personal information, no usage data, no identifiers, no crash reports. The privacy manifest bundled with the app declares no collected data types and no tracking domains, which is the same answer its App Store privacy label gives: Data Not Collected.
What stays on your device
Your progress — which words are in which box, when each is next due, and your settings. It is stored locally and never leaves the device. There is no server to send it to: WordLern has no backend, no sync and no third-party SDKs.
Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else.
Notifications
If you turn on the reminder, WordLern schedules one local notification for the time your next card comes due. Local notifications are scheduled and delivered by iOS on the device itself; no push server is involved and nothing is sent to us.
Speech
Pronunciation uses the German voices iOS already has. Which voices are available depends on what you have installed in Settings. Nothing you tap is recorded, and the app never uses the microphone — it does not ask for microphone access at all.
Children
WordLern is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the version here changes with it and the date below is updated. The history of this page is public in the repository, so any change can be seen rather than taken on trust.
